Introduction to IG541 fire extinguishing system
IG541 fire extinguishing system is a mixture of 52% nitrogen, 40% oxygen and 8% carbon dioxide in a physical way. When sprayed into the protected area, it will reduce the oxygen concentration in the protected area to 12.5% which cannot support combustion in a short time, and produce a suffocating effect on combustion to achieve fire extinguishing. On the other hand, according to long-term medical experiments, when the human body breathes in an environment with an oxygen concentration of 12.5% and a carbon dioxide concentration of 2~5%, the amount of oxygen obtained by the brain is consistent with the amount of oxygen obtained in the normal atmospheric environment. The 8% carbon dioxide gas in the IG541 fire extinguishing system is to artificially increase the carbon dioxide concentration in the protected area to 2~5% required for breathing in an oxygen-deficient environment without causing harm to the human body. The 40% xenon gas is mainly used to accelerate the diffusion and mixing of the mixed gas in the protected area to ensure a uniform degree of fire extinguishing in the protected area.
